Do learn to say “NO” to your children. Be a “YES” parents most of them, but try to say No to your kids at times.

It’s been an obvious phenomenon that parents refrain from saying No to their kids. In this article, we will discuss kids of age five or more. They are ready to accept every tantrum their parents show and struggle to be strict with them. Is being strict a bad phenomenon, or the parents just don’t want their kids to feel bad? Let’s know more in this article.

Spare the rod and spoil the child:

One of the common sayings which allow parents to be strict with their kids and show them the real mirror. Being strict at the right time allows the kids to understand the importance of minute things. They will experience the consequences of doing wrong things. It is very required for any child to understand the future responsibilities for which the foundation is laid.

Do not fulfill every wish of your child:

Nowadays, most of the time, couples stick to a child or two, which makes them concentrate on limited resources, and they can provide them with everything. But fulfilling every wish of your child creates a psychic for them to lead an easy life. The thought process is not right. Every child needs to know that there will be difficulties that life can pose in their way. It is important to know that you are affecting your kid’s thinking, and they will be unable to adapt to future possibilities.

Sharing is caring

Take them out to parks often to allow them to play with other kids. It will help them to build their motor skills. Ask them to bring their toys to the parks to share them with others. Refrain usage of mobiles and TV in front of children, and mingle with them in their daily chores. There are a lot of children who are facing vision issues due to prolonged exposure to mobile and TV.

Maintain distance from social media:

Do not expose your child to social media at a small age. It can affect their growth as they want to enter the bling world soon. Avoid creating their account or allow them to use yours. Social media is already very time-consuming for everyone, so do not allow them to spend unnecessary time on it.

Kids do need a lot of attention that day. Stuff like AC classrooms, nurseries at home, a pile of games and clothes, etc., can spoil them and will never prepare them for future struggles. Explain them and make them understand. Be realistic, become a positive parent and try to create a balance between a “Yes” and “No.” Happy parenting!
